Senior Associate – Deals Strategy and Operations

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Legal Services – Manager to Sr Manager (Talent Pool)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client advisory: Provide strategic legal advice to clients on corporate and commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and other legal issues. Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realises they are required.
  • Project management: Lead and manage multiple legal projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels.
  • Business development: Identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the legal practice.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all legal activities comply with Indonesian laws and regulations, and advise clients on legal risk management.
  • Research and analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client advisory and internal decision-making processes.
  • Documentation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Cross-functional collaborations: Work closely with other PwC Line of Services to provide integrated solutions to clients.

Requirements:

  • Currently we are building a Talent Pool for Manager to Senior Manager to support us in providing high quality corporate legal services with requirements as follow:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable universities. A Master’s degree or equivalent is a plus.
  • Have professional experience working in a Law Firm (Manager at 4 – 7 years of relevant working experience and Senior Manager more than 7 years of relevant working experience).
  • Have strong background in corporate law, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance. Previous experience in a managerial role is preferred.
  • Have a PERADI License
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.

Manager/Senior Manager – Accounting Advisory Services (IFRS 17/9)

As a Manager/Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Actively involve in IFRS 17/9 implementation project for insurance companies.
  • Support Director and Partner to supervise and project lead IFRS 17/9 projects (for Senior Manager level).
  • Lead, develop and mentoring junior staff.
  • Be part of PwC IFRS 17/9 market pursuit, initiatives and activities.
  • Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.

Preferred requirements:

  • Minimum of 7-8 years of experience (for Senior Manager level) and minimum 5 years of experience (for Manager level) in the life insurance or consulting field.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge in IFRS 17/9 for insurance industry or high motivation to become an expert. Experience working in Big 4 Accounting Firms is a plus.

Employee Relation Officer

Job Description:

  • Assisting in the preparation, review, circulation, and filing of all Employee Relations administration processes, including all ER letters (Warning Letters, Summon Letters, termination letters, employee agreement templates, Early retirement).
  • Maintaining data quality in the database (Cases logbook).
  • Acting as an operator, taking notes (Minutes of Meetings), setting meetings, and booking rooms for all ER meetings and bipartite discussions.
  • Processing bereavement donations for staff who are grieving (immediate family members passed away).
  • Recording the PKWT process.
  • Ensuring the WLK process is updated.
  • Assisting in drafting and reviewing Company regulations (in collaboration with the ER Manager).
  • Updating HC & HCD Policies on Firm Policy and socializing them among HC & Pillars (liaising with Company Regulation).
  • Handling questions regarding Firm Policy, determining when to answer and when to escalate.
  • Preparing agreements and payments for HC-ER third parties (HC-Consultant and APINDO).

Prefered Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an HRIS Administrator or similar role.
  • Experience with databases and HR software. Experience using Workday is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills, able to process and analyze big data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Ms Excel (advance in using formulas) or related software.

Talent Pool – Advisory Deals (A-SA)

As an Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project
  • Prepare deliverables
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters
  • Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand

Requirements

  • Majoring in Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or any other related fields;
  • GPA above 3.0 / Second Class Upper Honours / Distinction average from top Universities in Indonesia and overseas.
  • Interested in the consulting and/or financial services industry.
  • CFA and/or CPA and/or equivalent professional qualifications will be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to speak good English language.
  • Minimum years of requirements:
  • Associate: Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Senior Associate: A minimum 3-years professional experience in a major financial advisory firm.

Secretary

Responsibilities:

  • Handle day to day enquiries and administration within the group.
  • Administers, organizes and updates relevant firm’s databases.
  • Arrange internal and external meetings and/or events as requested. This includes but not limited to: manage the time frames for each meeting, provide buffer between meetings, coordinate the attendance of all invitees, book and set up meeting room based on requirements, fulfil any special needs required for each meeting, reschedule any meeting as required and update the participants, coordinate and organise the catering (if requested), and coordinate with other department (internally) and externally (PwC overseas or Clients)
  • Perform travel management for both business and personal purpose.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls.
  • Prepare both business and personal expense and ensuring all the supporting documents attached and make copy of all the submitted expenses for follow up.
  • Perform filing management. This includes but not limited to maintaining confidential records and filing of reports, correspondence, statistics and related material for ease of retrieval.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma degree from secretarial or office administration academy with minimum GPA of 2.8 (out of 4.0).
  • Minimum 1-2 year(s) in secretarial function. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

  • To update Tax Big Book website in parallel

  • To help Tax Dispute team to manage centralised registration and administration for e-Tax Court (input for registration, uploading data by client service team)
